Objective

The objective of the municipality is to provide efficient and qualified services for - as well as to maintain an ongoing dialogue with - the citizens, the business community, the town council and other local institutions.

Departments

The municipality consists of three main departments:

• Council Service: Services for the town council, council administration and local institutions.
   
• Institutional Service: Salary, staff and finance.
     
• Citizen Service: Social service which comprises labour market, housing, pension and benefits. A technical department which deals with planning, construction and property. And a service area which offers assistence to the public on different issues.
